Seven Britons are among the dead from the wildfires that tore through southern Spain, authorities have confirmed.
Spanish officials said on Tuesday that 12 of the 13 victims were foreign nationals, after post-mortem examinations were completed, according to local media and Agence France-Presse.
The blazes, which ripped through Almeria province on Thursday, have become one of the deadliest wildfire disasters in Spain's recent history.
The UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said it was supporting affected British nationals and their families and remained in close contact with Spanish authorities.
Footage from the worst-hit towns shows entire landscapes "completely charred", with residents describing the speed and ferocity of the flames.
The tragedy has renewed focus on Spain's exposure to increasingly severe summer wildfires, fuelled by heatwaves and dry conditions across the Mediterranean.
